When Viewing Examples of Student Work:

Often a single example of work may not demonstrate all the required objectives for a particular assignment. Instead students should collectively consider: the required objectives for each assignment, the multiple examples presented on this website and during in class presentations. As well ideas discovered through a student's independent research in combination with various examples and ideas presented by instructor will ultimately be the best approach for synthesizing ideas and reaching the requirements (and unique outcome) for any particular course project. Attendance and participation in all classes and meeting with instructor with Art Assignments in progress well in advance of deadlines will increase chances for desired grade. Photographing Art Assignment 2

(2 photos) for UM Learn Submission:

Required to upload/submit 2 photographs of Art Assignment 2.

STEP 1

Photo #1 of Work: Requires Name and Labels (temporarily place labels and name on work while photographing work) when taking photo 1 place a ruler or opened tape measure beside work in photo to verify scale of work.

Photo #2 of Work: Photograph of work without labels. Once again acetate will not be required!

Before uploading images, photos must be checked to make sure photos are in focus before the photos are submitted on UM Learn.

STEP 2

Naming of Photograph files before Uploading to UM Learn:

Please label the 2 required photograph files with the following information before you submit the files on UM Learn.

Photo1 file name: LastName_FirstName_Project 2_with labels.JPEG

Photo2 file name: LastName_FirstName_Project 2_no labels.JPEG

Naming the photographs will be very helpful for keeping the photographs organized and archived

Art Assignment 2 Submissions Folder on UM Learn: A submission folder for Art Assignment 2 is located on UM Learn for Art Assignment 2. Try a test run of submitting a photo on UM Learn in the Submissions folder well in advance of deadline!
