When Viewing Examples of Student Work:

Often a single example of work may not demonstrate all the required objectives for a particular assignment. Instead students should collectively consider: the required objectives for each assignment, the multiple examples presented on this website and during in class presentations. As well ideas discovered through a student's independent research in combination with various examples and ideas presented by instructor will ultimately be the best approach for synthesizing ideas and reaching the requirements (and unique outcome) for any particular course project. Attendance and participation in all classes and meeting with instructor with Art Assignments in progress well in advance of deadlines will increase chances for desired grade. Wed May 16 no lecture by Instructor Derek Brueckner

No lecture was given by Instructor Derek Brueckner during this class due to Dr Davidson requiring the entire class to cover course material that will be part of the information to be tested on the Mid Term during Wed May 23.

After Dr Davidson's lecture just prior to class ending,  Instructor Derek Brueckner projected his U of M email address brueckne@cc.umanitoba.ca (as listed on the syllabus) for people to contact him if students did not receive the email with the links for the online information of the course.

As stated in class most students received the email with links for the course, provided students were checking their U of M email accounts and their accounts were active and functioning. (As stated in the syllabus it is expected that students check their U of M email for course information)

After class, as usual students met with instructor  to discuss perspective assignment examples and other information regarding the course.
